The academic program at SLS is designed to present students with a rigorous, integral, and total education based in Catholic values and tradition as well as to provide students with an intellectual and scientific formation of the highest caliber designed to prepare students for university study. The program for grades two through twelve focuses on the following major areas of endeavor: Modern Languages (English and Spanish); Classics; Mathematics; Natural Sciences; Philosophy (and Catholic Theology); History of Art and Fine Arts; Social Studies; Technology; and Physical Education. The rigor of the program is exemplified by the expectation that students in the high school will take multiple Advanced Placement exams.
