SLS
is proud to announce that it is now a member of the Educational Research Bureau
(ERB) and, as such, will be administering the Comprehensive Testing Program 4
(CTP) for the first time to the 4th, 5th, and 6th graders. It is our
intention that academic excellence start from the earliest stages; therefore,
we wish to be audited by a reliable, professional, accredited educational
testing institution that will provide us with a comprehensive assessment
of our primary school curriculum.
This
experience will lead to constant growth from our earliest grades so that
students will be equipped for the challenges they will face beyond graduation.
We
also wish to extend our graditude to the American
School of Madrid for
endorsing us, since membership into ERB requires endorsement from other ERB
member schools, in addition to having accredited status.
SLS is happy to announce that for the first time
it has administered the ReadiStep Standardized Test, which is basically a
middle school SAT. ReadiStep
is a part of ETS and its purpose is to provide middle school students with an
effective introduction to the PSAT and SAT
as a tool for excelling in those important qualifying tests.
SLS has covered all bases in its goal of acquiring
performance feedback from reliable institutions at every grade level. We
believe this will fill any potential curricular gaps and facilitate academic
transitions at both grade school and high school levels and, as a direct
result, prepare our students for admission to any college of their choice.
