SLS students and faculty members visited several historical sites during 2010. The itinerary covered Granada’sfourteenth century Moorish palace La Alhambra as well as the city´s sixteenth century Carthusian Monastery, and Cartagena’s Roman archaeological sites, including a Roman amphitheatre, Roman houses, a temple dedicated to emperor Augustus-- known as the Augusteum--, a Roman road-- known as the Decumanum --, the Punic wall, etc. Most of Cartagena’s archaeological sites dating before and during the first centuries A.D. were discovered during the late twentieth century. In our Gallery you will find more pictures of these interesting trips.
