It is with the great sadness that we inform you of the recent demise of Mrs. Rebecca Thompson.

Mrs. Thompson worked as Lower School Director of the American School of Madrid for several years. Since the beginning of Shoreless Lake Schoolin Spain, Mrs. Thompson contributed very closely to the progress of our institution toward the high academic level that it has reached. Mrs. Thompson´s love for teaching and for SLS impelled her to travel to our center in several occasions to support selflessly the work of ourfaculty members. Also, Mrs. Thompson coordinated visits of our teachersto ASM and both encouraged and promoted our participation in many educational conferences.

We want to express our unending gratitude to Mrs. Thompson for her friendship and our deepest condolences to her family for their loss.
