 SLS teachers and administrators attended the cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) course run by Mrs. Linda Saunders, registered general nurse of the Orsett Education Centre, Orsett Hospital, Essex, England and Mr. Mark Saunders, South East Essex Technical College, England.
The sessions, organized by the health and safety committee, allowed all the participants to update their knowledge in this field.
Our thanks to Totana and Mazarrón’s Red Cross for lending us the equipment. Our special gratitude to Mr. and Mrs. Saunders for their help.

 Classes have started at SLS and we would like to give a warm welcome to all our students and teachers, especially to those who have become part of our family this year.
Our most sincere good wishes to Fr. Jared Hood and Mr. John Del Priore who are leaving for the USA to help in the parishes of the Society of Jesus Christ the Priest.
New Lower School Director
The Board of Directors has elected Ms. Yolanda Piedra Rodríguez SLS Lower School Director. After majoring in Commercial Engineering at the University of Cuenca, Ecuador, she studied several years of Theology at Seton Hall University in New Jersey. She taught for nine years at SLS New Jersey, the last four of which as Dean of Faculty, and she has been teaching at SLS Spain for six years as grammar school teacher. Congratulations, Ms. Yolanda, and good luck in your new assignment!
